Maurice Ozanne, retired Salvation Army Band conductor, has submitted an inquiry of some sort with the UK’s Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, and their auto-response says that they’ll “send a reply to you within 3 working days.”  So I’ll be looking for that.
